  • Fuel Surcharge Consumer Advisory
    Businesses attempting to recoup the high costs of fuel and energy must include fees and surcharges in advertised and quoted prices, according to the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General. Contracts must also conform to the law and clearly disclose all associated charges.   (05/29/08)

    The Department of Labor and Industry will continue to seek comments on the 2009 Combined Agency State Plan at public meetings throughout the Commonwealth through April 17th. The Combined Agency State Plan is an annual budget and outline for the state’s Office of Vocational Rehabilitation. These meetings will provide Pennsylvanians with a way to share their ideas and recommendations on the Combined Agency State Plan, and suggestions on how the Commonwealth can better serve people with disabilities.   (04/03/08)

    [06/27/08] Piccola Pleased Act 30 of 2008 Completes PSECU Land Transfer

    HARRISBURG – Under legislation signed into law today by Governor Rendell, the Pennsylvania State Employees Credit Union (PSECU) is one step closer toward creating and retaining hundreds of jobs while remaining in Dauphin County, according to Senator Jeffrey E. Piccola (R-15).
